Christmas Cards and Hangings
from the Santa Maria Education Fund



Each year we produce a Christmas card,
the sales proceeds of which go to the Education Fund.

The card for 2005 shows one of the Christmas hangings made by the Sewing Co-operative.

 It has this picture on the front, and inside is printed the following text, together with Christmas greetings in English, Spanish and Guarani:

Some of the students supported by the Santa Maria Education Fund also work part-time in a local sewing cooperative.
This appliqué wall hanging shows Christmas night in Paraguayan style, with the yellow flower that blooms on the palm tree in the hot Christmas season, Joseph sipping the local drink terere, and the crib surrounded by offerings of sweet smelling fruit, while chickens wander by freely.

These cards are now available priced at £3.95 for 10
plus postage and packing: £1.95 for up to 30; £2.95 for 31 - 70; £5.50 for over 70.
