Christmas Cards and Hangings for 2007
from the Santa Maria Education Fund



Each year we produce a Christmas card,
the sales proceeds of which go to the Education Fund.

The SMEF Christmas card for 2007 shows a nativity scene at sunset. Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus are in traditional Paraguayan costume; Mary and Joseph rock the baby who is lying in a hammock with gifts of sweet smelling fruits in front of him, and the sheltering palm tree sports its fragrant yellow flower, always associated with Christmas. This is the tradition with Paraguayan cribs, because Christmas here falls in the hot summer..


These cards are still available priced at £3.95 for 10
plus postage and packing: £1.95 for up to 30; £2.95 for 31 - 70; £5.50 for over 70.
